Rupa Tarway

Rupa Tarway, originally from Bihar, India, and now residing in Fulshear, Texas, is an accomplished Indian folk artist specializing in Mithila (Madhubani) Art. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a certified Mithila Art teacher. Since 2017, she has worked in the USA, teaching art, math, and science to children. She loves teaching art to various age groups in both India and the United States.

She has collaborated with national-, state-, and Padma Shri award winners in the Mithila art tradition. She is associated with the Fort Bend Art Center and is a Fort Bend LSAG award winner. Rupa promotes art through exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs. She is the founder of Tarway’s Root and Reveries Art.
